I seem to have... around 12 lost and found folders, which i cannot move or delete.... how the hell am I supposed to get rid of Lost and Found folders? If only it was possible to contact linden labs like it once was
I'm sure this sort of thing is easily fixed on their end.Anyone have any suggestions? |

Consider yourself lucky. I currently have around 90 Lost and Found folders. These are system folders and as such are not able to be deleted at the user level.
Unfortunately, LindenLabs no longer provides hands on support to the playerbase for basic accounts. I can't seem to find anything in the knowledge base that addresses something like this, so what other avenue for resolution do we have? If a Linden happens to read this, please respond with an idea of how we can resolve an issue like this. Having one or two extra folders may be acceptable, but I have counted NINETY Lost and Found folders in my inventory which requires me to scroll a distance through before reaching the rest of my folders. This is disruptive and I'm sure could be easily remedied. Personally, I would see cases like this being acceptable to submit a ticket for, even at a basic level. There is no way at user level to delete Lost and Found folders. I have bug reported it (seems like a bug to me) and await some sort of light. _____________________

I just noticed that every time I log in it says "You cannot modify protected categories." 15 times. Considering I have 16 (15 extra + 1 used) lost and found folders, i consider this related. Please help out Linden Labs, I cant fix this on the user end! ((or if I can... I have no idea how!))
Its been like this for WEEKS... if I were to have been holding my breath, id have choked to death. |

Your stuff pretty much gone forever. I've file complains about half of my inventory dispairing.. Never heard a word back from them nor seen my stuff again... Those stuff worth more than 60k L$.

for those with multiple lost and found folders, please DO NOT clear cache and relog, it will spawn more such folders (as least for me in the past). file a bug report and wait for a linden to manually fix the bug. head to jira (cant recall the #, might need to search for it) and discuss/vote there.

The issue HAS been reported several times and fixed on the back end. I will be reporting it through Jira (http://jira.secondlife.com/secure/Dashboard.jspa) later this evening when I'm at home.
It really is a shame that basic accounts cannot submit tickets to support. I have to believe that the Lindens understand that nobody is going to upgrade their account if things aren't working correctly. At LEAST fix basic issues like this for basic accounts. I can understand requiring higher paid accounts for in-depth support, but come on. _____________________
