Are they down in SL? I have radios that have dozens of streams but cant pick up any. Went to shoutcast, picked up a stream, listened to it, then added the URL into SL...nothing again. I did this with 10 different streams, all worked outside SL but not in. I have the lastest QT and haven't changed any settings or drivers in my SB audigy sound card. I have asked others and they have the same issues. This started just the other day.

1) if you're using the 'firstlook' client (the live grid beta), that's had a noticable prob with streams connecting, it seems... i get a station when i first log in, but the very next parcel i visit, the stream won't connect, no matter the old solutions of switching radio on/off or tping out then back... relogging is the only solution there.
2) even when i'm using the 'radio-friendly' release client or even just using itunes to check radio stations... finding net radio stations more often lately overbooked for connections (and simply appearing 'dead'). actually they're just getting tremenously popular, and they have no more available connections to allow you to listen.:\

That doesn't explain why I can listen to Winamp on a station that is half full then when I transfer the URL to SL I get nothing. I can't believe that the stations fill up within the few seconds it takes to add the URL to SL. Plus I tried many stations and the fact that I'm not the only one with this issue. There are more than one thread in theses forums about this.

I'm having this problem too, with the regular client. There is no fix, huh?
update: I reinstalled Quicktime. I had the latest version already, but it worked. shew
