Temporary Objects not Vanishing

So, funny story. On my land parcel I have created some temp objects. Sounds shiny, except that they didn't vanish and counted against my parcel's prim limit. The first such objects were TEMP_ON_REZ (the temporary checkbox /was/ marked when the object rezzed) and the later versions had the temporary thing marked manually. Neither vanished or stopped counting against my prim limit.

Deciding this could be a sim problem, I went to a few different sims- namely Club Gainsville and Ivory Tower Prim Tutorial to experiment some more. One again, created a variety of objects, some multiprim and some single-prim, some 'temp_on_rez" and some with the button checked manually.

Objects continued to exist for about 2k seconds before I kind of got bored and left. Repeated the exercise a few days later, from a different computer. Had a cylinder exist for an hour before I got logged out- might still be hanging around for all I know. Asked for help on the SLScripters group, no results.

Am really confused. Anybod run into this problem before?

Are you creating objects and then checking the box each time? Have you tried checking the box, taking them into your inventory and then re-rezing them from there?

Temp on rez is unreliable, add a timer + llDie if you want it to be abit better then it will wanish pretty much all the time, you can use it with temp on rez to avoid it counting towards your land prims.

Used a script that set rezzed prim to - temp on rez on a holo thing awhile ago, but it was so easy to make them stick to land, so added a timer, never been bothered again.

LL changed how temporary prims work a few updates ago, before, checking the Temporary checkbox made them temp_on_rez instantly and would disapear in a min or two. Now however, they must be set Temporary /before/ taking into inventory, and they will be temp_on_rez when rezzed back out, checking the box after rezzing will not make them go away. If they are set before you take them into inven and rerezzing, then there is a bug and you should report it.
