I'm not sure when it became acceptable to take the game down without letting people know but apparently it is down. Just an FYI for everyone trying unsuccessfully to log in

Apparently, only the logins are down. Im still just wondering why the heck is no one informed.
One of my friends is online. and i was online, and when i logged off to switch to First Look, it was "down" but still up.
Apparently Lindens are doing a good job at NOT informing bout this incident.

UPDATE:
its allowing login after a few hundred attempts. then its again wont let logins occur. Somethings wrong with the login server. probably

Seems like when you get logged on, you will have some major problems >_> cant teleport, No one sees your Name, it does not appear even in chat/IMs.

I just managed to get in after 45 mins of trying lol.

Now i pray i do not crash

<15 sec to log in, guess it depends on the sim -.o

I'm in now but money transfers are going stale amongst other problems.

so the system crashed and they are in bed ugh

and right when replying i managed to get in *finally*

My wife is (and has been) on, on her computer, but I can't login from mine, so yeah, it's only the login that is locked down.

oh, my money transfer worked fine...getting the object i paid for didn't, however

[Update] This issue has been resolved

right, sorry "resolved" isnt good enough : p , i can randomly log in various places, but most of the time it just goes blablabla

Log in is not down, just very unreliable (shock O_o)

Although I haven't even tried to log in yet, I did send a reply email to an IM I received overnight while I was sleeping, and the email just bounced back. This is not a good thing, looks like LL's usual communication problems have reached an all time high with this one. (not to mention their ability to figure out what is wrong)

my login's only working with the FirstLook viewer, first time i used it
which brings me to a different point that should go elsewhere: i *do not* like the friends/IM/chat history/group windows all being rolled into one box...quite view-obstructing

ghost prims are back in high numbers aswell :/

By the utter lack of response from them about ghost prims, I have a feeling they don't believe they exist.

I requested them to reboot my sim and it solved my ghost prims I had 1 or 2 weeks ago. But it does not work all the time even if they say that it does. You could still try.

I am surprised after a long weekend of the "oh well see ya monday message" they left friday, this would be fixed or some sort of news about it would be posted in that blog but nothing.

That whole drop item, pick item up, get hourglass forever, item never returns to inventory problem was still going on. If they had only listened to us and common sense months ago, or maybe years ago I should say, when we kept asking for secure inventories and they kept adding features instead.
