Prims Spontaneously De-Linking

Good Afternoon,
I experienced an interesting phenomenon very early this morning in Slosser at a firing range a partner and I have constructed. A self scoring "target" spontaneously de-linked itself. I bought two of these items, set them in separate, narrow firing lanes, and since they are "bullseye" in appearance my users enjoy using them for accuracy and alignment testing. I have no perms on the items other than "transfer", they come without modify perms, therefore, and I admit to being somewhat new and possibly mistaken, I can't myself de-link the items. This was noticed after starting up the scripted timer in the targets, they stopped scoring hits and never ran out of time, at first I just thought they might have gotten "stuck" in a loop for some reason. When I went to pick them up and re-rezz them, low and behold they are all in individual prims.

To check myself, I returned to the vendor, purchased a third target, returned to the range, rezzed it, checked it, all linked, no mod, and tested it thoroughly. No reportable problems thus far.

For this to happen to two individually scripted items, simultaneously, that had been functioning as advertised before, makes me scratch my head and think an outside agent is at work, perhaps.......sim crash related, as we continually have low performance in Slosser, which is on the new continent by the way.

The rub is, though they de-linked, I can't re-link them, as they are no modify, and I did try for the sake of arguement.

Any thoughts, ideas, comments........I welcome all and will try to provide as many details on the situation as I can.

Well, finally, I could bear it no longer, I deleted the affected items, as they were beyond my repair, then went out and bought new ones, if these break, well, I'll find another toy (or get off my butt and script one finally) to replace them.
