I too am having the same problem. I'm using a new Dell Inspiron E1505 and all my drivers appear to be up to date. At least before I wasn't forced to use the new version. Now that I am, I can't even use SL because I keep crashing.
Way to go SL. |

Just tried to update my driver via the Intel site and my computer will not let me install, saying I need to get it from my computer's manufacturer. I go to the Dell site and according to them, I am running the most up to date version of my video display driver, which is the Mobile Intel 945GM Chipset.
So... still no driver update. SL is still crashing. How frustrating. |

Tell me about it,
I been to dell, intel, microsoft and several forums, i can't find a solution, Still crash each time i go in sl but not as much, i rolled back, upgraded many things, Version Tracker helped me find a lot of drivers that needed upgrading, some wouldn't Are you getting everything enlarged on your screen yet, or even worse, blue screen. I don't think the dell inspiron 6000 was the best choise for me using sl graphics etc, I'll have a better idea of waht i need in my next buy, this thing gets me in sl.. lagggg |

ialmrnt5 failure

Here is what the windows XP event viewer has to say:
"The driver ialmrnt5 for the display device \Device\Video0 got stuck in an infinite loop. This usually indicates a problem with the device itself or with the device driver programming the hardware incorrectly. Please check with your hardware device vendor for any driver updates." The driver download did not fix my Dell, which claims to be up to date. Edit: SL does not support intel vid cards, and will not fix this problem ( |
