Hey guys I'm having some serious problems with SL. Most of it has to do with lag and such.
I was told by a Linden to check my pings and contact my ISP provider, and thats all I got out of him.
My pings stay between 2k-11k And for anyone who knows thats pretty high.
So I e-mail my ISP provider they tell me to download "Ping Ploter" I was told to trace the connection between me and SL to find out where the lag is occuring.
Problem is the Lindens wont tell me what I should trace to. I need the games IP or something.
Can anyone help? This problem is making SL un-playable. The pings causing me to only get like 2-5fps And we all know thats not cool.

While in the game, go to Help->About Second Life... The resulting dialog box tells you which server you are connected to, including IP address.

Most Lindens are paid and trained with low level support.

Don't expect too much from them, even when they are part of a big corporate company.
Or better, simply check for the designated server address to you located in the C:/Documents and Settings/<your account/Application Data/SecondLife/Logs/SecondLife.log Open the file with any text editor, and search for
Attempting login as:
Below should show you the details of your login. Which also includes the server you're directed to.
