Is it jsut me or is SL having alot of grid attacks lately that cause them to shut down SL...seems like since the new 1.7 version this is a problem..I mean every time I play now we are under attack and shutting down...getting old..blah

I'm surprised it doesn't happen more often. There are way too many people out there who get their jollies by making other people unhappy. 'Hey, I got me a free account! And I have some rudimentary skill at scripting! I can take the grid down!'. I'm pretty sure that the vast majority of them have several things in common: They are under seventeen, overweight, stutter, smell of rancid butter, and will never know the touch of a woman. Unless she is kicking them in their Happy Place.

It doesn't just happen with free accounts. Anyone who has ever played a MMORPG can tell you that attacks on the servers are frequent, and most MMORPGs are pay to play.

Actually, the first attack of the 'G-Man Balls' was on the night before the 1.7 update... so we were still in 1.6.X back then...
