Complaint about pasword recowery!!

Hi LindenLab and readers on forum,

About 6 mounths ago my password was reseted on my other account with user name Sasha Clark explanation was because someone hacked their database.
Since then im trying to recover that password!
In that time i was forced to open nother account and pay for it cos its my second account
but anyway i invested quite some money in my first acc and i want it back.
Now problem is im contacting lindenlab on regular basis BUT NEVER GET REPLY BACK
if we exclude auto reply mail with ticket number.
Now im wondering why doo they have tehnical support if it doesnt doo nothing?
Im realy frustrated about it and they simply dont care corection dont reply!!

Im premium member and i cant afford loosing money all the time.
If some Admin reading this please doo something about it cos im realy frustrated.

You have to call. I have never, ever received any response, much less assistance, by contacting through email.

I cant aford international phone calls im not rich thats why im using email support wich is totaly useles

I got the same problem, my old accounts password was changed when they reset everyones now I cant change it, I submitted a ticket to the support system few hours ago but nothing. That'd be your best bet and just wait till someone responds =\

In the same boat. I have the luxury of working in the diplomatic field and not having to pay for international phone calls, but it seem's they've pretty much given up on that whole issue. There was a period where recovery was very easy - with the list of options they provided after that incident, but alot of people have busy lives and missed it.

My solution has now evolved into "get over it" *shrugs*

I'm working on a shrine for my beloved former AV now :p

Resubmit the ticket in the support portal, considering it was just open yesterday you couldn't of had it sitting in there for a week already ^^

No that ticket was opened in friday but im trying to contact them last 14 days.
I even used tehnical support email section manny times but no response.
i think if they offer only phone CS then they should remove options to contact them by email and everything else.
And why they have forgot password under login when they send you link to reset password and you click it only thing you get this service is unavaileble.
Never seen worse CS in my life time most of internet sittes need 48 hours tops to reply.

I've waited 3 weeks for my support email I sent to not be responded too, I just found someone else to answer it for me. But in this situation with your ticket you put in friday you'll most likely be waiting till tuesday when they are back in office.

I had that problem also when Friday I went to recover my password for my account, it kept saying "invaild password" when I would try to use the new one. I called and they reset it and told me to go into the account info and change it. It now works for everything except beta program.

Yust couldnt be more perfect!! I called customer support 1st thing i got was automated mesage on tehnical stuff etc wich all can be found on sitte...duh like i didnt went 100 over it already...then i get anoying music and mesage please wait until some cs is availeble....
perfect i would say....waited 5 minutes then decided to hang up....i still didnt recover password!! So whats perfect in all this?
Perfect is the fact that im not rich and calling over-seas is huge expense for me but who cares about that in CS. What can person like me doo in this case... only thing i can doo i can stop spending money on this account that is accessible for me as now i live in fear that if same issue happens again i will waist money on 2nd account and eventualy loose it cos i cant recover password :-/
And realy how hard it should be to write email?

maybe you should use Live Help in-game on your alternate account. Or just search up a linden and talk to them. I do it sometimes, and I have to wait like 20 minutes sometimes, but its on the internet, and I get a linden. If you can get one linden they can send the word to whoever can help you.. I think. So try that. Sounds like a real bummer though.

Live help in game no longer exsists. You have to use the new support site.

Ah well few days ago they sent me they need aditional data wich i sent them.
Now.....no reply again here is nother weekend coming so i cant hope to get answer till monday and i dont expect it even then!
This is my worse experience with CS in my life time i have accounts even on other sittes and usualy takes them to deal this tipe of issue 48 hours tops.I guess getting active customer back to play is not issue here they probly have more important stuff then worry if i need password.
Im starting to rethink my premium membership here as i said i dont want spend money on something that if lost cant be recovered.
