Downloading SL New Problem!

Hi,

Today I decided to download second life on to my lap top computer. Anyways I downloaded the file and when trying to run the set up I keep getting this error.

I have included a screen shot!

Download it again, youve either got an unstable internet connection, a bad network card/driver, a failing hard-disk, or were just unlucky at the time

I did that and am still having the same problem I also reinstalled my machine completely and am having the same problem!

Wireless laptop right

temp disable firewall/virusprog then download it again see if that work, could be they are bugging in, also if you have another pc that it work on, burn it on cd/dvd and try that, wireless can easy corrupt downloads.

I had a similar problem also with wireless.

However the issue was AVG anti virus for some reason.

I temp diable AVG and the download arrives without issues now.

I couldn't see the screenshot, so I don't know what is up.

However, my daughter has found that when a new version comes out, and she downloads it through the sign-on screen, it trips her virus checker. However, if she goes to the second life home pages and downloads it from there, she has no trouble at all.

I had this exact same problem when I tried to reinstall SL on my PC recently. I contacted support several times without resolution. They finally said they could not help me. I asked if they could email the installer to me, they said they could not. I had to have a friend send it to me. I was able to install from her with no problem.
