Does anyone know for how long is someone's SL email address valid for?

I am talking about the one given as the return address when an IM is sent; looks something like:

223f3875-5b50-7a53-a934-ac0f14a356f9@im.secondlife.com
(actual address changed to protect the innocent)

Thanks,

- T -

Really? I was under the impression that this address is the actual UUID key of the avatar, which doesn't change, ever? But now with an official response, I guess the return address key is just a random generation - to protect against spam.

If this is the case, does the same apply to objects? Nevertheless, I think I jsut realized a solution to my object-object comms problem.
