I been getting a really annoying problem recently, I think it has to do with Alpha textures. But take a look at the hair in these 2 pics...

is there anything I can do to fix this? Anything I can change with my video settings?

That thing behind you seems to have a alpha to somewhere, SL cant figure out wich one to draw first and last, so its always a mess with them, nothing you can do about it really, it varies wich is visible depending on your cam view.
