I just built my new computer, and have one of the first final releases of Vista Ultimate running on it. I am having an issue in that Second Life sees my new card as a generic 32mb ATI card, and it will not run. I would appreciate any input. Pleas do not post that I can't have a full version of Vista, or that the drivers are not compatibe, as I have the newest drivers FOR Vista directly from the manufacturer. Thank you for your help.

Its possible that the Drivers are not compatible.
Quote from CATALYST® for Windows Vista Release Note : Note: The following ATI features are not supported in the Catalyst® Vista RTM driver for the Microsoft Windows Vista operating system: · CrossFire™ · Catalyst® Control Center Video aspect page · OpenGL
Second Life needs very good OpenGL Compatible Drivers. Are your Drivers good enough for Second Life ?
If all else fails, use Windows XP or buy Nvidia. Who needs Vista ? for what ?
