I just reinstalled SL because of the login problem and now that that problem it fixed another problem arises. after it says logging in it says connecting to region and then it stays there, it won't go past connecting to region, this hasn't happened before? Why is this and how can i fix it?

Asset server is getting bogged down. Just stay in the log in screen til it either aborts itself, or goes thru.
Quiting or closing screen during a login delay causes additional login issues & stress on the asset server... which is why LL put a warning that states login might take a few, when you are logging in.

If you've uninstalled and reinstalled, please reconfigure your firewall/internet security/Norton software (if present).
