Each time I send a video to disk using ctrl+shift+a, the video saves at double speed. I have used many codecs, all the industry standards, and no fix. I have also updated to windows media play 10, to no avail.
Any help?

Prolly better off using Fraps rather than the SL video rcorder. It sucks by their own admission and LL recomends using Fraps, its free (limited to 30 second clips, paid version is unlimited). Don't have the link handy, try Googling for it.

I just thought of this, you need to save as uncompressed AVI if you can, that significantly reduces the resourses needed to record, you can then compress them later. This may help your speed problem. Count yourself lucky, I can't even get it to work at all.
