Cant use sl

whenever i try to turn on sl it shows the crash report from the time before because after that it immediatley crashes. it just started recently and i reinstall sl but it still dosnt work. I know its not my system specs but i need help.

Have you tried an uninstall of Second Life and reinstalling?
This will clear out the cache and start fresh.

What the other Volos said, except he found a way to fix it apparently, deleting all your folder in applications folder or something.

i got mine to work by deleting every folder inside the application data folder and then loading sl, u have to set all your prefrences again but at least the game worked. i have yet to try signing off and back on. lol

Ive got the same problem now too. Ive tried everything you guys posted about on here and it just wont work. Matter of fact, after i reinstalled it the 3rd time.. it showed the crash log, and then it flashes the loading second life message for like a milisecond and then nothing happens at all.

try to uninstall then go and look for any remaining files/folders and delete them all. restart your computer and try redownloading the latest version again. Then try to reinstall after fresh reboot and clean system. I hope this forum dosent give me the crash bug! hope its not contagious!
this was all said before but I think rebooting might be key.
If all else fails watch tv?

Alright, I got it working, I overlooked one thing... clearing the data out of cache... i realized i didnt try that yet... thanks for the info about clearing out the cache.. my fault for not reading closer.

I have found a way to fix this problem. This is the only way. ( For me atleast )
Uninstall Second Life
Create a new user profile for Windows (Do this in control panel)
Install SL on the new profile
You're done!
If this does not work, which I doubt it wont, good luck on fixing it.
