I also get this Crash after today's Update... I receive the "display settings have been set to recommended levels based on your system configuration" notice and it crashes seconds after this appears. I also did not have this with the last version; only upon instillation of this new release today. Any suggestions? Thank you in advance for any support.

If not, I do have a HP so ty Shaun I may try these drivers as a last resort...

Another Member suggested the following as well...

I really wish they would sticky a thread for ATI users.

Try the Omega Drivers. They have solved a lot of problems with SL for other ATI owners.

I got as far as the login applet however receive the warning upon entering my login information - “Unable to connect to server. Could not resolve domain name: userserver.agni.lindenlab.com…” now.

Bad install

I downloaded the 1.14 update and tried to install it. During the installation process I had several files it said it could not open for writing. Sl would go to a crash logger as soon as I tried to boot it. Uninstalled SL and re-downloaded 1.14. Same thing I am now hosed with an inoperable SL

Same problem as you Shaun with the exact same computer. What joy. Thank god I didn't install the new version on my back up computer, but SL is slower than death on it.
