Can different sims handle video differently?

My group has purchased a plot of land on a small island in Geneva. Beautiful, pristine site. But when I tried to set up a video display it crashed the clients of all four of us standing there trying to watch.

It didn't just crash -- it locked us up so hard we had to hard boot. Three times.

After clearing the URL from the land's media tab, we moved the equipment to another sim of a friend. It runs flawlessly there -- the same juke box, the same media player, the same four clients.

Would this indicate a problem with our sim? Is there a workaround?

But was it the same url for the video stream?

The sim shouldn't effect video. There is a possability that the jukebox activated some inate bug in the sim software but this is highly unlikely.

Yes, very same url. One URL completely locked up all 4 clients. The others we tried didn't even work.

And yet all of them performed flawlessly on another, different, sim.
