1.6 seems to have a VERY odd effect on prim shoes. One small prim (maybe the first or last prim linked?) seems to occasionally get large on the shoe! I saw this happen twice:

1. On my Black Doc Marten boots, the little tag on the back of the boot (a cut cylinder) went from tiny to about the size of the boot itself. When I zoomed in on it, the prim "snapped" back to regular size. Everything looked normal thereafter.

2. Kenzington was wearing my Eff Me Boots when one of the silver buckles (a cut cube) became as large as the boot, large enough where it looked like she was wearing boxes on her feet. All onlookers could see this but to Kenzington the boots looked normal. However, unlike my issue, hers never snapped back to normal.

I also got an IM from a customer claiming a similar problem but I have yet to investigate. I would include photos but I can't get into the game right now.

well, i've been observing similar effects with my furry avies, despite having cranked the object detail to full, cuz thats what I thought was up.

I saw this happen a couple times in Cordova on a house build I was playing with. The prim in question was a water prim (from a hot tub) with some kind of animated texture and a script.

The prim (which was a 4m diameter cylinder) would move, and grow to 10m x 10m x 10m for a few seconds. When I changed zoom, it would go back.

Interesting...

Oh ok, so this is most likely not an attachment issue. My buckle prim wasn't textured, and the doc marten tag wasn't shiney so we may be able to rule that out. Was your prim cut? Cause the two prims I saw that went all flippy both had holes in them.

No, it was a normal cylinder with respect to prim shape. No holes, cuts, or other adjustments other than XYZ size.

I wouldn't have mentioned it, but I saw it happen a number of times. It tended to happen the most when I zoomed way out from my build.

Not sure if this is similar or not - but I experienced some bizarro behavior during my game show last night...

I have an actual studio-set for the game show, with a podium for the contestant. The podium itself is the question timer, and begins counting off seconds when I click on it.

The podium portion is black on a default wood texture.

Last night, i noticed that when I click on the black podium to start the timer - it would randomly "lose" its color, and revert to the blank default wood texture. Then when I'd use a voice command to reset the timer - the blank default wood would revert to black again.

This is a little confusing to explain - and not sure if this makes sense - just wanted to report it. There's no explanation I can think of that would account for this behavior.

Sounds similar Travis. Thanks!

Oh! That sounds like what I saw last night! It was a tube (or cylinder?) all distorted and warped to sim-filling sizes. I reported it, and then approaching it caused it to snap back.

Oh. Ok. See...this is why I never report anything. Cause someone else always does it. And when I say "someone else" I usually mean "Catherine Omega".

Don't worry, they're not broken, they're just being rendered incorrectly.

I think I've had the same thing happen to me...

I have some hair ribbons tied into small bows.. well actually it's a bunch of small prims that look like hair ribbons tied into small bows... but as I was wearing them in the welcome area the other day one of the loops would seem to become huge like three times the size of my head.

It wasn't cut or modified in any fancy way besides beings squished down in size, but when it looked weird for me it wasn't necessarily looking weird for other people and vice versa. At the time I had one like four other attachments with lots of small prims but it was only happening to my hair ribbons.

I just saw something that might be related...

While I was changing clothes (putting on prim shoes) one of my shoes appear first as a big box before shrinking down and showing up like normal. I saw it and it immediately reminded me of the boxy view of the 2.0 screenies.

Maybe the big wonky prim is part of the way prims show up now... it just gets stuck that way sometimes when teh prims are real small.

I've been experiencing wonkiness as well. Working on a fountain, no cut prims, nothing tiny, but had an animated texture - when I link to it, or shift-drag to copy, just one prim out of the entire bunch will blow up. Panning the camera or waiting a second or two will fix it.

I've been having similar stuff happen with other attachments and vehicles. Specifically, my WARP pack from Cubey Terra occasionally has the "label" distort and go "through" me. And a transforming car/hovercraft I have will "stick" when transforming - apparently, this isn't necessarily noticed by other people, so it's almost certainly some kind of rendering bug... wouldn't it?
