Hi guys
Just wondering, how much stuff SL keeps on my HD.
I'm considering a reformat and clean install of XP. Clearly I would need to reinstall the SL client software but is there anything I need to back up?

SL doesnt really keep anything on your pc so youre clear to format it, when you reinstall SL and start it again it download from asset server.

yea whatever SL downloaded will be downloaded again, when you first log in the only pita is resetting your options (oh yea and those noobie nag messages, "this is how you type"  which i beleive you can kill nowdays without going tru all 15 or whatever |

I would try and copy all the pesky updates for XP, and your latest GC drivers, MB drivers etc... saves you having to download them all again. Oh and put a copy of the latest SL on your DVD. Reinstalling from a DVD disc, will be quicker than downloading and reinstalling.
