Im playing in SL and at random times my screen goes mad all kinds of graphics appear and weird shapes then after about 10 seconds of tat my hoe computer freezes requiring a restart..
i have a 2.8GHZ p4
1gb ram
9800 pro ATI graphics
i dont have problems with any other games just SL can any one help me out ?

Know what drivers you are using?, most ati used www.omegadrivers.com or the other wich i cant remember , instead of www.ati.com as they dont do to good with optimizing them.
Also try toggle these on/off ,ingame see if it does anything for you ctrl-p (preference) Graphic Details - avatar vertex program (disable / enable) Adv.Graphics - Agp graphic card [ ] Enable agp (faster if using agp graphics card) ( some get graphical corruption with ati and this on) |
