major crashes with OS X

I just DLed SL earlier tonight. I generally can run it anywhere from 2 to 20 minutes before it crashes. Sometimes it crashes alone, sometimes it takes all of OS X with it (which is very rare for an OS X app in my experience). If I'm somewhere where there is lots of stuff going on, it almost always crashes.

My specs are a G5 1.8 ghz machine running Tiger, 1 GB RAM, nVidea GeForce card with 64MB of video ram -- if that can't run SL WTF do I need to get, a mainframe?

any help is appreciated.....

be sure to hit ctrl+P and change your settings

lower your draw distance..

after that.. you may find you crash less. i crash at times just by my computer trying to load to much at once.

I'm on OSX 10.3 (panther)
