New Update is causing crashing and other anomalies

Since the new update, my game has started crashing regularly, a problem which I had just solved. Also the doors in my home no longer function as intended. Some open in numerous directions...sideways, upside down, upwards, others wont open at all. In addition there is very bad lag, and fluctuations in color.

Yes, Zan, I too am having horrible issues. After uninstalling, reinstalling the updated version, I am not visible in sl, only half of sl is rezzing (including my house) and it is unplayable for me. I have tweaked my firewall protection as suggested by tech support via phone, and still, my avi is not visible Nor is most of my house. My land is showing as owned by noone..... On to yet again, uninstall and reinstall. Very upsetting, to put it mildly.

Since the latest release SL crashes after approx. 1 to 2 minutes after loading.

I am using the Mac release - there's no warning, it just crashes. I make sure to send the crash reports but as of now SL is unplayable.
