My SL client's been crashing for almost a year now. My system specks exceed the minimum requirements. Drivers are up to date.

I think that there's a software conflict in my computer, but I don't know what could be interfering with my games. As I'm writing this, I'm reinstalling the SL client.

My computer continues to lock up (Computer becomes completely unresponsive), and crash (go through reboot stage, then become unresponsive at desktop).

This also happens when I play Battlefield 2.

My system specks are below.

OS name : Microsoft Windows XP Home
Processor: x83 Family 15 Model 3 Stepping 4 GenuineIntel ~3192 Mhz
Total Physical Memory: 1,024.00 MB
Video Card: ATI X1600 Pro
Network: Cable

I guess the question is "What programs can interfere with my other softwear?

You might be looking at an overheating problem, or possibly a driver issue.

Try the Omega Drivers if you haven't already: http://www.omegadrivers.net

As for overheating, try running with your case open, and possibly a fan aimed at the internals (mostly the video card)

DW: Like I said: Once. There's a banana grove there now. I like bananas. Bananas are good.
