Hi all,
I have been having serious problems in my region lately. We have been trying to get tech support to do something about tremendous lag we see on our region even though we are far from capacity. I have tried to get livehelp to help and all they do is reboot the region which kicks everyone out of my club and kills the night. Once we get it going again, the region will reboot again or flat out lock up. This has been going on for 5 days now.
The other day, the region rec'd notice the server was going to be replaced. Worked for a while but not anymore. Lag and region reboots are constant and are killing my business. What should I do?
HOW CAN I SAVE MY BUSINESS AND LAND INVESTMENTS - PLEASE HELP
I already sent numerous e-mails to support but have not received any information.
Thanks all...

can we get more precisions about what you define as "business" and "investments" so we might have a better idea of what it is involving resource wise?

In my opinion

Well, almost everything I do on this game is investment. From the land I bought to all of the fixtures in my club to all of my employees - those are what I consider investments. Don't fully understand your question but hope that answers it.
Heres my deal: I am paying for a service that DOESN'T work. Not only that, they keep trying to fix the problems by doing the same thing - rebooting which obviously does nothing in this case. Each time (again 3-5 times dailt) they reboot, they shut down the club. We have to start all over everytime.
Reources are not an issue here. After reboots, the region is empty, lag starts right back up.

Jak, have you looked at your own club and reduced the amount of lag inducing items, uncessary scripts, particles that emit over and over, vendors that produce lag. You may also want to recheck the textures the more varying types there are, the worse lag can be. Something else to remember is that so many prims in a small area by prim wearing avs doesn't help. Before looking outside of your establishement, look inside. Have your neighbors do the same. Does someone in the sim have the prims that rez temporary objects. Fish rezzors come to mind, but they can be spitting out anything. They really do a number of a sim.
