keeps crashing =(

alright lads and ladies, i'm new to second life and only installed it today. trouble is everytime i start the program and log in, i last for about 3 minutes before it crashes! Every time i send an error report using the pop up box which appears but it still happens. any help?

i've just done a bandwidth test and my internet speed is around 873.8 kb/s if that helps

System specs? Broadband type, amount of RAM, CPU brand and speed, graphics card, graphics card drivers, all this we need to know.

EDIT: I've also just restored my computer to factory settings as i thought that might help if i get rid of all the rubbish, however it's had no effect and still keeps crashing =(
it happens most often in busy areas and when i try to edit my appearance, lagging is also a problem!

no one can help then? sorry for the double post, i just really want to start this game and don't have a clue why it won't work, from the main site i meet all the system requirements

I'm having exactly the same problem. It's been like it for weeks. I've sent my secondlife log file to LL tech support, they sent back an email telling me to change where I log in... which is pointless and hasn't got anything to do with the crashing.

I've sent another one. I hope they read it this time. I'll let you know if I get another one back.
