Hey. Quick question. In terms of being "friendly" to the underlying scripting VM what is the best way to make scripts.
- big scripts with lots of if statements/global functions - lots of little scripts / linked messages - a mix of both
I am personally holding out for the latter.

In my testing using the estate tools... big scripts with as few as possible cause the least amount of script time. Merely having more scripts in an object causes it to use more script time. I made a very simple dance floor with 64 dance tiles. There was one script in each tile that all it did was change textures, texture animations and color. Plus there was 1 controller script, so 65 scripts in the object. It used the most script time in my sim, even when it was off and not doing anything except waiting to be turned on. If the estate tools are accurate my conclusion in general is:
The more scripts an object has the more laggy it is.
