I seem to have a problem with sound stopping soon after I start playing a streaming video. The sound works fine for a moment and then shuts off. Is there any way to fix this?

I had this problem too...I asked live help and all I was told was to go into options and:
-Increase my max bandwith
-empty cache and restart
-or...something else I forgot... Edit: Ah! or Reboot my comp
I did it but it didnt help...the thing is...I think my internet is just plain too slow...sure its broadband but large movies take a TON of bandwith that even my DSL can't handle...not sure what you have but basicly for me it's just too bad...nothing will fix it unless I got faster interweb.
I run at about 1200kbps

Downgrade your quicktime to version 6.5.2
Version 7 seems to cause this in SL....no clue why...but..yea.
