Anyone else crashing during login? I keep blowing up during the "initializing quicktime" part of the boot up sequence. Have reinstalled SL and reinstalled quicktime to no avail.

Any advice? I'm worried somebody will be hitting on my imaginary pretend girlfriend while I'm unable to get in. :(

What if you just remove Quicktime? Sure, you can't watch in-game movies, but maybe you will at least be able to log in?

you might try using the Quicktime Alternative if you use a pc

Problem resolved thanks to some wonderful phone-in tech help. The new version was driving norton apespit. They also told me that a hand puppet is not really a girlfriend, which is helpful.
