Textures are awful having to reload every time I login to my home or teleport to an area I have been to dozens of times... getting pretty fed up with it...not just once but all the time this is happening...some things never load, whats up with that? shoes I have worn many times now don't show the texture, just that ugly grey box...and I'm tired of clearing the cache three, four, five times a week as they suggest..lol...I don't even get an answer when someone will fix my lost and found folders, I have three of those now...wondering everytime I crash if I'm going to have another lost and found folder with half my inventory in them again that I have to put each one back where they belong...this world use to be fun...now it is just another hassle on my list...We build things ...down the road the textures either missing or won't show...we work hard at building to have to put up with this...we pay more than this program is worth anymore just to come into loading textures or missing textures that we have uploaded that cost us money that we don't even get reimbursed for...yeah tee'd off isn't the word anymore... disheartening, very much so....you bring out new versions when you need to fix the old ones first...instead of piling more problems on top of what already exists fix them first them give a little break from all these new not so hot versions that need fixing...It's a never ending battle lately...when I do call LL's it is always my computer or a program I am running( that I have always been running), LL never says it is their problem and not ours...lol...how many of us have heard that over and over...I have til I'm sick of it...My computer is more than capable of handling this world...but at the rate they keep upgrading(downgrading) not many of us will be able to handle this world for long unless we buy a computer once a year...

All I want is to be able to enjoy sl like I use to many versions back...I know people want the upgrades...but make sure they work before putting the problems on us...I don't know what the answer is here, all I want is to build and enjoy sl again...I hate to rant and rave, just I'm tired of fighting this battle...Please dont tell me to just leave...I don't want too...and I won't like so many others...

Playing SL is kind of like building a submarine while already submerged. One must weather all kinds of glitches.

However, RL has lots of glitches too. One trips on a crack in the sidewalk. (Hey! The prims aren't aligned properly!) Someone sprayed graffiti on a "lost cat" poster on the lamppost. (Griefers at work! They should be banned!) Someone's eyesight suddenly weakens and she needs new glasses. (Textures not loading correctly in one eye!)

The point of this is, I can put up with most of it. Sure, even yesterday I had problems with a few textures taking their time to load. But I was patient and decided that if it was that important that it load NOW, I would do nothing else until it did, which meant a further delay in my construction.

If this affects one's bottom line, so what? The loading lag affects everyone and therefore is not an inconvenience economically.

I hope your problems minimize and you can rediscover the joy you felt at playing SL.
