It's REALLY scary having big gray, solid looking, boxes coming at ya instead of the Linden Trees! eeeek

Yes I agree, as much as I dislike the way the Linden trees display, they are better than stupid looking gray boxes.

Personally, I prefer bumping into a build I can't see yet because it hasn't rezz'd rather than being surrounded by HUGE gray rectangles with white borders! I FEEL soooo claustrophopic!

Even on my Mac mini I never had problems with running into objects I couldn't see just because they were smokey... even when flying, if I'm going THAT fast I *still* bump into stuff because the whole *object* doesn't rez until I'm on top of it.

My big problem is prims rezzing around me. I've ended up stuck in a prim (or probably in an internal gap between prims in an object) so the only way I could get out was to sit on the prim I was stuck in, and I've found myself in a building with no obvious way out more than once.
