I updated to 1.17.3 and now whenever i double click the sl icon on my desktop to start sl i immediately get a windows pop up saying second life has encountered an error and needs to close, sorry for the inconvenience. Does anyone know where i can get a download of 1.17.1 as that version worked fine for me, either that or does anyone know how to fix this? thanks very much  |

well, Ive just done a completely fresh install of windows xp home editions, spent 2 hours installing updates, directx, nvidia drivers etc, downloaded 1.17.3 and it still wont work, i'm still getting the windows pop up that says secondlife has encountered an error and needs to close, were sorry for any inconvenience. What am i supposed to do? I can't get into SL at all unless i use 1.17.1. I've tried the beta of 1.18 and that has the same effect as 1.17.3 so after wednesdays compulsory update I wont be able to get into SL anymore, has anyone else had this problem, and how did they fix it if they did? please help me, thanks in advance.
