I am not sure if anyone else is experiencing this, but when I have a second inventory window open to move things around within, the -original- window is jumping to the new place within the folders where i am moving the items to. It used to stay where it was, so you didn't have to scroll up and down just to move things around. This new jumping to the new location is rather counter productive; making the 2nd inventory window rather moot, since we now have to scroll back to grab the next thing to move anyhow.

It's a cons-peer-ah-see ah tell you!

The so-called "Lindens" have it in for us inventory pack-rats, and are making it harder and harder to manage our objects in order to force, ah say FORCE us to throw our crap away!

P.s. Seriously, as an interface designer and programmer in RL, I cringe.

P.p.s. I still love SL though... I could just love it more.

I'd like to chime in on this one! And add... even single window sorting is a major pain, what with the folders popping open instantly to the item you just dropped into it. Looks like I need to be prepared for my carpal tunnel to flair up, if I want to sort it out now.

Agreed, I hate the folder opening just because I put something in it.

Makes it a pain when moving a bunch of stuff, drop it, it pops open, have to close it, refind, then drop again..was way better before..leave close unless I open it (did not like the hover over for a few seconds and open either, but it was better! lol)

Gee, and I thought it was me doing something wrong. I didn't connect it with the patch - guess cause I'm still new and figuring this stuff out.

It is a serious PITA for those of us who are new and hadn't even gotten accustomed to the other way.

But I am really glad to know it's not me messing something up. hahahaha

Yeah. As if inventory wasn't a dire enough excuse for a system anyway, they go and bork it. Pffffft.

FIX THIS PLEASE, LINDENS!!! And while you're at it, PLEASE make that folder opening thing either optional or just do away with it.

SL inventories suck the big one. It really should be the next thing to do some major reworking on, imho.

I wish it didn't open the folder for you ever... if that worked I'd hardly have wanted to use two windows in the first place... :-/

AS if it wasnt hard enough already when u acquire 40 new objects maybe to put them into the folders one by one... now the second widnow wont stay in the source folder and jumps to same as the destination on the other window how time consuming..

LINDENS PLEASE fix this and PLEASE PLEASE when will we EVER get multiple drag and drop MOVE of objects between windows its taking me hours to move things every week. why oh why cant we have this its been asked for for more than one YEAR now ??
