I've had my issues with SL as much as anyone re rezzing etc, but crashing has never been an issue for me.

However, since the last update, I have been crashing on login which forces me to re-install.

I get to intitialising world, then poof, crash logger. Any ideas ? Nothing has changed for me regarding specs etc.

Ok I'm bumping my own thread.

I can't log in now without re-installing EVERY time... ! I get to Initialising World and it just crashes out. This has never happened to me before the latest version.. anyone got any ideas ??

My specs are as follows:

P3 3.3mhz
1gb RAM
256mg Radeon Atlantis
1mb Broadband

I'm having the same problem. It worked fine for me yeterday, and today, I can't log in at all. I tried logging in on my friend's computer (we play SL together) and his works just fine. I don't understand this at all... >_<

I'm having problems logging in, too. Every time I try to log in, it goes to "detecting hardware", "logging in", then poof! As soon as the screen to log in appears, it closes itself. I don't even get the option to file a crash report. I tried deleting stuff from my computer's harddrive thinking that might work, and the only thing that changed was that I can now see the log in screen. Still, as soon as I click connect the window closes. It worked just fine the last time I logged in, so I don't really know what else to do. I've tried everything I could think of to get it to work and nothing has so far. I tried re-downloading SL, and I can't even do that!
