I am a long time scripter and SL game developer. I am in the middle of making a complex team tank game. It has a lot of sounds so today I began working on some sound preloading scripts. Much to my surprise... after use of the llPreloadSound functions, sounds called only once via llSoundPlay play multiple times... often with a very long pause between the unexplained "echoes". I have confirmed in triplicate that the sounds are called only once and after removing the preloads, everything works fine again.
I have not yet gone back to other previously compiled scipts or games. I'll do some more testing with it when I have time if anyone appears to be having like issues. Please post below if you do. This may very well be related to the last update, as I have not experienced it before.
