You are not allowed to view this note. You are not allowed to view this note. You are not allowed to view this note.
That's all you get when you click the link to a notecard embedded within another notecard. It should link you to the next notecard, but, you just get "You are not allowed to view this note."
This is since the latest update. It broke inter-notecard links. They were working fine before, and didn't have this issue.
PLEASE FIX IT LINDENS!!!

https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-1225Torley Linden [19/Jun/07 09:22 AM] Moved priority back to Major per earlier dev meeting -- we still intend to fix this soon.

Copy embedded notecards to your inventory then read them from there.

A Month Has Passed ... Still Broken

I bump this topic to the top of this forum in the naive hope that a problem listed as MAJOR on the Known Issues is actually being addressed. The embedded notecard system is the only real way to transmit significant amounts of text from multiple authors since the "books" available in Second Life all require texture uploads and become cost prohibitive when lots of text is involved and the end product is given away freely. I run a writing competition and the embedded notecard system is the heart of our project. PLEASE Lindens! This worked before! We really need it fixed! Thank you for your help!

Sorry to add pretty much nothing to this, but this is one of my biggest pet peeves. So many places rely on these for rules, etc...and besides the frustration of the notecards being unreadable, many staff in places that use these treat me as if I'm a total dweeb for not reading the rules. Sometimes it works, most often it doesn't.
Grrr...
