I caught the thread posted by Zorin Frobozz in the mac tech discussion "Strange behavior on Mac Pro + Nvidia 7300GT"
The picture that he provided a link to ( copied below) is EXACTLY what I am seeing on my GeForce 6200LE for the last 4 days or so)
I run Sl on a Packard Bell, brand new computer, and up until now, SL graphics have been perfect! but now, urgh.

Copied from Zorins post
QUOTE:
2) I get random rendering glitches, things vanishing for an instance, a corrupted texture or two, and so on.

3) Sometimes the client goes beserk and all I see is this: http://zorin.org/share/temp/screen_last.png only a restart fixes this.

END QUOTE

I have this, and if you follow the link he has posted, that is what I see, on a different running system and graphics card..
is anyone else seeing this? or having this problem and has the same card?.. its driving me nuts and having to constantly relog is becoming a pain.
It tends to happen more on zooming in close to objects and using the camera controls.

I use two Nvidia GeForce 7900 GTX cards (raid array) and had to use the Beta driver on Nvidia website to be able to play SL. It's still not great, but at least my avatar doesn't look like I need a "fix" (shaking) ALL the time -- only some of the time! :) At any rate, you might try experimenting with other drivers if they are applicable to your card.

As for me, I find myself constantly grumbling that everything loads so very slowly, when I feel like I should be flying with my hardware. In fact, everytime I teleport somewhere I find logging out/in forces the draw much faster than me standing there waiting - waiting - waiting for the world to appear.
