I"m having the same issue. I froze and then tried to restart SL and couldn't log in.

even if you were logged in (my bro is) no body, sent to the wrong sim, no money, search not working, TP not working, Friends list not working

but when does friend list ever work right

I really want to hear about this, close the forums, fine, I guess thats your progitive. Replace it with a system that you do not update during a grid outage, not so cool.

I managed to log in earlier and got to watch a rain of avatars fall into the welcome area. I wish I had though to take a snap shot of it. The number of half naked ruths was just amazing. SL appears to be fully down now as it just kicked me off.

I think it is imperative that Linden Lab make a announcement to all in-world BEFORE disabling log-ins so that you dont leave a important discussion/event in attempts to fix a issue and then find out that you cannot return. It's good customer service to let your customers know when you will be denying them of services and give them time to make adjustments. Business 101.

I am so infurrated with the problems with second life lately.. friends list issues, lag issues, problems with hackers, problems with teleporting etc.

why cant you guys FIX anything? second life is down now it always goes down half the time for some stupid update that doesnt really FIX anything and still doesnt address some of the MAJOR issues such as terrible lag at times and other things...

this is infurating and why the heck did it have to go down now! no warning or nothign just "poof" went down.

thanks a lot. Lord knows they make enough money from this they cant use better resources to hire someone to fix these problems? its annoying and frustrating and im sick and tired of it.

when will thes patches and server down times ever really start to FIX anything instead of a few MINOR updates.

and thanks for the whole password reset thing you could have gave us a CHOICE to reset our password or not but NO like the typical service you forced EVERYONE to have there passwords reset.

very lovely........all because of some bug and error that YOU should have known about in the first place...

i am sure am glad i dont put in as much real money as some of the people here.......there are people who put thousands of bucks into it monthly to get this sort of service....and help that still doesnt help anyting

like i sent a password rest email yesterday and i KNOW its going to take 4 or 5 days before i get a decent reply!

not only that but i have also heard reports of people who owned land getitng screwed over and had there land taken for various reasons or what....

anyways there are some serious issues with second life that really need to be fixed

and another thing the underage issue i KNOW there are LOT of underage kids running around in this game...because you eleminated the credit card requirement anyone now can sign up.

even with the credit card it still dosnt stop teens and kids from entering and this is NOT a place that any teen or kid should come to.

the problem is i think 20 percent of those in second life are underage and which causes problems for all.

According to the front page of the website there are 8,310 members online now, yet the grid is down and has been for a while. There is not explanation of what happened or when things will be fixed and no updates. Way to Go!

Actually my bro just logged back in no problems. Everything restored to normal for him.

Today i woke up, tried to log in, [Login Failed] X3.
When i finally logged in, it took a good 5 minutes before my offline IMs and inventory offers shown up.
My Linden Dollar balance had nothing after the L$ part, till a relog.
Friends list still broke.
People had TP issues and i had to TP them in.
Sims are lagging like crazy.
FPS is so low i barely can move.
And I disconnected once so far.

YES.. SL has become the titanic.. With the death of the most active sections of the forum thats where the life rafts have all been used... We are the remaining few that drown in the icey waters...
