Hi... I just logged in with the new version and first thing I did was turn on ripple water. Then POOF all water is gone. A friend also has this issue.

My graphics card: RADEON X850 PRO x86/MMX/3DNow!/SSE2
His: RADEON 9550 x86/MMX/3DNow!/SSE

Is there something we can do to get ripple water?

This is slightly dissapointing... I just got this graphics card 3 days ago. As far as I know... it's one of the best Radeon makes. : /

Make sure you have the latest drivers. Yes, I know hearing this a lot gets old but it really is important.

I moved this to Technical Issues so fellow residents may be able to help. You could also try contacting support@lindenlab.com.

Ahhh joy, I run a Radeon 9800 pro (AIOW) Not new, but not older then god and out of date. Also suffering from the lack of the simulated wet stuff. Sadly I must run Cat 5.3 drivers to run my OTHER games (GTA:SA for example) and when I did update (after I got the card back in early 05') it broke almost every game I run. So the choices look like so..

A) Upgrade to the latest and play ONLY SL...
B) Dont upgrade, missout on the "fun" and be able to play everything else I own.

I love options, dont you? ROFL

I had this same problem with my Radeon 9600 in the preview. I upgraded my video drivers with the fabled Omega drivers that a lot of people have suggested - www.omegadrivers.net - and it fixed it immediately.

P2

Edit: Whoops. that's .NET, not .COM. Sorry.
