woooo finally all is well

So i decided to upgrade to a Nvidia FX 5500 128mb from my radeon 9000 32mb, and what a difference, no problems at all now, cept for a few funny colours on my face and cloths, but wooooo, what a difference!!

That's great news, Silver! You should check Nvidia's website to make sure you've got the latest official drivers. That may be the cause of the texture corruption you still see. If that doesn't help, you could check out the many beta drivers available at places like www.guru3d.com. If you go with betas, of course, remember that you're pretty much on your own as far as official support goes. Still, they may work if nothing else does.

Hrm, think I read a thread one time about having to really deep-root out ATI hooks and such... can be a hassle. (I have an ATI, so know your previous pains.)

But I still stick by, "I find it funny that the ATI works great with everything else, and even funnier that people should have to swap out their hardware for the stability of *one* program...". =shrugs=

Yeah I am with you on that one Rayne, but I had to upgrade anyway, as most games require more than 32mb, I just picked an Nvidia because it was on special at my local shop!

Not much hassle changing it over anyway ...
