I have a block of land that is next to useless because the is 10m X 10m X 10m ghost prim in the middle of it. Ghost prim being? There are no prims on my land yet it seems that there is this bloody big prim that can't be walked through - doesn't show up in my objects list and can't be clicked on????
I have had three people test this and they have the same problem
Over the last few weeks I have lost several objects (some expensive) from surrounding land and now this ... I'm starting to get fedup with the whole thing.
Is there any way I can get rid of this ghost block?

Easy solution

The exact same thing happened to me a few days ago and I found the solution in this forum...
Submit a ticket asking for your region to be restarted. Mine was restarted within minutes and the ghosts disappeared.

By the way...

...ghost objects seem to be caused by deleting an object twice - usually you delete it but it doesn't vanish so you try again. It eventually goes but leaves a ghost. The best thing is to only delete it once; it usually vanishes eventually!

This has been happening to me quite a bit over the past few days as well. I have started to switch my objects to Phantom and Temp On Rez before I delete them, just in case they decide to stick around in their ghostly state. I do think that a Sim restart will get rid of the ghost prims. Saw a post on the Linden blog about this problem so they must at least be aware of it. Happening to me less today, actually.

Ask support to restart the sim. It works; my fiance had the same prob today with 28 ghosted prims. Restart fixed it.

I think the idea of making them phantom before deleting is a good work around - he what's this ticket thing? And where do I lodge it - since Linden's took away live support I've been lost if I need to contact them.
