I have had a quicktime stream as a video on one of my parcels. It was working fine.

I then bought a "TV" with channel changer and some quicktime streams loaded. They worked fine for a day, then stopped working.

I deleted the TV, and manually when back to parcle media settings to restore the video stream url, and texture to what I had before.

But i can't get it working!

The stream itself must be ok becuase i can go to another plot and set it and movie works fine.

I set up streams on dozens of plots. Has this TV "ccorrupted" something?

Thoughts guys.

Regards.

It can depend on the method in which the controller works. If it relies on the 'email' function to broadcast the url changes, then there have been recent issues with that function laging. Are you sure the host server(s) are operating and haven't gone off line?

Try editing the TV, and click the Tools menu top of your screen, choose Recompile scripts in selected objects.. to see if this resets the script.

You might also check that the TV, receiver, player (system dependant on what needs deeding) is still deeded and that hasn't been reset.

I have deleted everyting from the parcel, put on a prim and set its media texture, and done the settings for the parcel.

I know the stream still works as i can walk to the next door parcel(owned by me) and do the same and it works.

How can i see if anyscripts are running on a parcel(that might affect this), that could be a leftover from the TV.

Bearing in mind your avatar maybe running scripts (sheilds, no push, HUDs etc), press Ctrl+Shift+1 and see how many active scripts are shown running on the land and any avatars in the same parcel. Also go to View, Beacons, Scripts, you will see thin strands of red around you, which are the places where there are scripts, also check the Active objects beacon, you will see thin Blue strands for those.
You could also go to World - About Land and check the Objects Tab, and click on the refresh button and it will give you a list of all the objects currently on the land (including hidden/buried ones) and click on a name in the list to hilight all the items belonging to that person.

If you have a receiver deeded to the parcel/land, you should, if you enable TV/Movies in preferences, see a movie controller above the lower toolbar, even if there is no screen or url in place, a clear indication that a receiver/TV or other system has been deeded. Sometimes when you drop an object (like a receiver) it can 'melt' into the surrounding objects and the script can migrate, so even deleting the object later, can leave the script running in a different prim.
