Slow Rezzing Last Night

I noticed last night that everything was extremely slow rezzing. When I would teleport back to my land or try to drop an object in the house it remained grey for a very long time. Also I dropped into the sims that Damani has and it kept locking me up and had to reboot several times. I cleaned out my SL cache a couple of times and still had the problem. Was it SL or do I need to do more cleaning of the computer and defrag again.

I am using the following computer:

Dell 8400
2 ghz of ram
250 ghz hard drive
GeForce 6800 GTO graphics board with 512 megs of RAM
3.4 ghz board
DSL with 1.5 gigs up and down

I also notice that although I only have about 1600 items in my inventory it took an awful long time for it to load my inventory.
