Getting very ready to cancel my account

I am getting very close to just cancelling my account.
this sucks, I really like SL, but since the upgrade I have gotten maybe 3 or 4 playable hours out of 72 hour stretches, like last night, it was awesome, the whole thing ran beautifully. I log in this morning and I cant move, cant download any textures, the sim I live on acts like it has been restarted or something, nothing shows up not even MY avatar, this has been going on since 7am this morning pacific time, it seems the ONLY time things run smoothly is when Linden Labs is closed (assuming they operate on normal business hours) once 7pm in the evening or so cruises by, things speed up and smooth out, during business hours, things are just fekking horrible

I have spent real money on this VR world, I enjoy the things I can do here, however I feel like I am being taken for a ride here, paying lots of cash to be a beta tester

It is my first version update so I don't know much about how it usually goes but I know complaining like this doesn't really solve anything. There are apparently lots of technical issues to take care of and that takes time.
I am on a Premium account and I haven't been able to play a single second since the 1.7 update but I've been through other big updates on other games like FFXI and I know it can get rather problematic.
Just telling everybody you might leave because of that (which seems to become a trend this week...) isn't the point of this part of the forum. Instead, try to describe your case more in details or/and just follow the situation from the forum and you'll come to a better result. :3
But remember (and this isn't against you but more like a message to all), you aren't the only one to have problems with the game right now and this is a Technical Issues forum.
