Gl rendering problem

When I tried to start up Second LIfe, I get an error window:

Error
Can't create GL rendering context

Is there anything I can do to enable GL rendering, or something like that? I'd really appreciate the help ^^;

Here's my card and monitor specs:

-Plug and Play Monitor on S3 Graphics ProSavageDDR
-Proview 770 on ATI Technologies Inc. 3D RAGE II+ PCI

I just want to make sure I'm reading this correctly -- you have two monitors, each on their own video card, is that correct?
Unfortunately both your video cards are below the minimum required specifications. Your RAGE II+ is a 2MB video card, and SL won't run on anything S3 makes.

If you're interested in upgrading, you'd want to make sure you had an AGP slot -- is your ProSavage mounted on your motherboard, or is it an actual video card? If you do have an available slot, you could get a dual-head, 128MB Nvidia or ATI card for about $40-$50 US, and that'd drive both your monitors and run SL just fine.

Yeah, there is that minor detail. If you live near a city with Craigslist, you could post an ad looking for a used GeForce 2/4 MX card. You could probably get one for about $20 if you really haggled. That'd let you run SL, at least. I'd recommend getting a new GeForce FX5200 or so though.
