Computer freezing when I run SL...

Alright, I had a problem with my internet freezing when I connected it. Everything would run fine for a few minutes, and then my whole computer would lock up and die.
I re-installed windows, which fixed the problem... except for when I try to use SL.

Everything simply freezes where it is. My mouse won't respond, my keyboard won't respond, my whole computer just locks up solid. The only way out is to reboot.
Like I said, it's only happening in SL now. I can leave my internet on all night and it'll be fine the next morning.

I've noticed, in the windows event viewer, that every time right before it crashes it gives this message:

Source: eventsystem
Category: (52)
Event: 4354
User: N/A
The COM+ Event System failed to fire the ConnectionMade method on subscription {B0C33689-F83F-4FEB-BB92-E44137D258CF}-{00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000}-{00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000}. The subscriber returned HRESULT 80004001.

I'm running Windows XP professional version 2002 with a 2.80GHz Intel Celeron processor. I've got 1 gig of ram, and an nVidia GEForce4 MX 440 with AGPx8 video card. And I'm running a wireless internet connection, through a Belkin G wireless card #2.

I've got all the latest drivers for my hardware. Anyone have any ideas here?

Microsoft says that it's a problem with MSN Messenger.

Interesting... I don't use MSN anyway, it's comes stock with XP. I'll uninstall MSN and see what happens.

Taking MSN Messenger off my computer didn't help.
I did notice there was another error occuring twice each time before SL crashes.

Product: Windows Operating System
ID: 1090
Source: Userenv
Version: 5.2
Symbolic Name: EVENT_FAILED_WBEM_SERVICES
Message: Windows couldn't log the RSoP (Resultant Set of Policies) session status. An attempt to connect to WMI failed. No more RSoP logging will be done for this application of policy.

Anyone?

SL won't even open properly anymore, it goes through the initialization thing and the window pops up, but then closes itself immediately.
