Hello quastion
first time under xp we get this Second Life is unable to run because your video card drivers are out of date or unsupported
with a 8600 nvidia card lastest drivers upto date
after install vista it work
but strange thing we get same erro again sl dont want to run
nothing speciale changed
some body have idea to change some pc setting becauce we cant come in the client now
to change things
also reinstall dont work and beta driver also dont work
help ();

Load the client, click Preferences button, in one of the Graphics tabs, uncheck 'check hardware on startup'...

I'm having the same problem, and you can't load the client at all. it would be nice to be able to change preferences, but you can't do that if the client won't load to begin with.

Sometimes the clients failure to load is due to installing new versions over older ones. Try removing every aspect of SL from your system, run a registry cleaner and reinstall the latest version. Its good practise to defrag your HD before installing any new software, keeps things running smoothly.
