When I'm sitting 650 meters in the air, surrounded only by the prims in a skybox...I can get 30-35 FPS. If I turn my camera to look at the blank sky...I can get 52 FPS...

...if I try to look at anything at ground level (i.e...somewhere in which there are more than a few prims...the sim I am in has only 5000 of it's allowable 15000 prims used)...

...I'm lucky to get 10 FPS.

Yup. And... why are you surprised by this?

"Improved simulator perfomance"

~when standing in a sim a few days ago, 45-50 fps.

~when standing in same sim today, 18-20 fps.

And this is on a PC w/ dual 7800gtx in SLI, AMD FX-57, 2G corsair, and 75g raptor....

lol

Me thinks the grid may need some good old fashioned tweakin =P

Nice map though!

client-side fps? just remember that client-side fps is independent of sim performance.
