No AGP Support 865PE Chipset
Miche Rainbow Registered User Join date: 3 Sep 2005 Posts: 9	09-03-2005 14:06 I have the Intel 865PE Chipset and an ATI Radeon 9600SE AGP 8x graphics card. When i go into the preferences for SL it has the AGP thingy greyed out and the game runs really slow. I have the latest drivers for both my video card and my chipset. I also have a 3.1GHZ P4, so that's not why it would run choppy.

I have one, and I did force that setting on, showed really no difference and actually after about 30 minutes slowed that card down... So it is not turned on for ATI cards, and really does not make a difference for them at all anyways. You are just as fast (or faster) with it off. How much memory you have in your PC, that will make a difference as well.
