Hi
Apologies if this has already been asked, but i could not find an answer and i did look
When I view 'friends online' I can see some are online but how do I IM them without logging into Second Life.
Should there be a link or are my preferences set up wrong ?
I have my offline ims directed to my email.

You cannot IM to friends inworld from the Friends Online page. You can however use an external site such as zonkster.com, but any replies will go to your AV, and if not online can be redirected to email. To use zonkster you have to register inworld first, directions on their website.
